Business Data Analyst (Contract) – Remote within Italy

About the Role

A growing Team is seeking a Business Data Analyst to join on a contract basis and support data‑driven decision‑making across the business. The ideal candidate combines strong technical capability with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, ensuring analytical outputs directly support strategic and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimise dashboards and reports using Amazon QuickSight, Power BI, or Tableau
• Write efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyse data
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across multiple teams to understand requirements, refine problem statements, and deliver actionable insights
• Conduct deep‑dive analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across all reporting
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Data Analyst or similar role
• Strong proficiency in SQL
• Hands‑on experience with QuickSight (required)
• Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau
• Demonstrated ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including gathering requirements, challenging assumptions, and presenting insights
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
• Fluency in English; Italian is an advantage
