ABOUT THIS ROLE

Are you the kind of person who loves connecting business goals with data-driven solutions?

This project is part of a large-scale Regulatory Reporting initiative within a major European bank. It focuses on strengthening how financial and regulatory data is collected, interpreted, and delivered to ensure complete compliance and transparency across markets.

We’re hiring a Business Analyst (Regulatory Reporting) — a consulting role where analytical thinking, clear communication, and precision meet. You’ll collaborate with finance, risk, and IT teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical, data-supported solutions. Your insights will help shape how financial institutions manage their reporting obligations and respond to ever-evolving regulatory expectations.

DO YOU HAVE…

🌟 Regulatory reporting know-how (4+ years) You understand what "regulatory-ready" means and can translate regulatory requirements into actionable deliverables.

🌟 Requirements management with business stakeholders (5+ years) You gather inputs, ask the right questions, structure ambiguity, and document requirements clearly for technology teams.

🌟 Regulation investigation & interpretation (3+ years) You can dig into regulations, extract what matters, and explain it in practical terms for implementation.

🌟 Business-to-IT translation + delivery involvement (5+ years) You don't just "write requirements" - you stay engaged through development, clarify gaps fast, and help the team implement correctly.

🌟 Solution verification / validation (4+ years) You know how to verify results against requirements using evidence (especially data).

🌟 Financial sector domain knowledge (4+ years) Strong understanding of balance sheets and income statements - you can speak the language and spot inconsistencies.

🌟 Banking products fluency (4+ years) Practical knowledge of loans, leasing, and investment products (this is essential).

🌟 Agile ways of working (4+ years) You're comfortable in an agile delivery rhythm and know how to operate effectively in a cross-functional team.

🌟 SQL + data model understanding (4+ years) You can read and reason about data models and write more complex SQL queries to support requirement discovery and validate solutions.

🌟 Location requirement (must-have) You are based in Estonia, Latvia, or Lithuania.

BONUS SKILLS…

💎 Experience guiding others in applying governance standards and best practices, even informally.

💎 Stronger-than-average data analysis mindset (you naturally validate assumptions with data, not opinions) would make you very competitive to get the role.

ARE YOU WILLING TO…

💡 Own the full analyst loop: gather requests → investigate regulation context → document requirements → support development → verify outcomes.

💡Lean into data: use SQL and the data model as everyday tools for both requirements discovery and solution validation.

💡Work hybrid: join the office two days per week (with practical flexibility based on your location and what best supports team collaboration) but customer demands onsite work by the fact two days per week.

💡Collaborate actively in an agile team: help the team align faster, reduce rework, and deliver confidently.

WHY JOIN US…

⭐ Be part of a highly skilled, international team working in the banking and financial sector.

⭐ Work on impactful projects that shape compliance and transparency in financial institutions.

⭐ Hybrid/remote work arrangement and flexible working culture.

⭐ Professional growth opportunities and supportive environment.

⭐ Competitive compensation: B2B rate up to 40 EUR/hour, or salary from 4400 EUR to 5400 EUR gross (for Lithuania-based setup).
