Embedded Systems Engineer

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Embedded Systems Engineer to join our client's team in the vibrant technology hub of Eindhoven. This role focuses on developing cutting-edge solutions in the fields of medical devices, robotics, and wireless technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement embedded systems for medical devices and robotics applications.
• Work with ARM Cortex M microcontrollers to create efficient and reliable solutions.
• Develop and debug software using C and C++.
• Design PCB schematics and integrate communication protocols such as I2C, RS232, RS485, SPI, and USB.
• Develop and optimize motor control algorithms for BLDC and stepper motors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design motion control software and firmware.
• Adhere to IEC 62304 standards for software development in medical devices.
• Contribute to FPGA-based hardware solutions.
• Manage version control using GitHub.

What You Bring:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems development.
• Proficiency in ARM Cortex M architecture and associated tools.
• Strong skills in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Experience with PCB design and hardware integration.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as I2C, RS232, RS485, SPI, and USB.
• Proven expertise in motor control algorithms for BLDC and stepper motors.
• Familiarity with motion control software and tools.
• Understanding of FPGA programming and its applications.
• Knowledge of IEC 62304 standards for medical device software development.
• Solid experience with version control systems like GitHub.
