We're helping a fast-growing AI startup is looking for a Backend Software Engineer to help build and scale an enterprise-grade automation platform for complex, decision-heavy processes.

You’ll join a core engineering team working on scalable, event-driven systems that power reliable and auditable AI applications. This platform focuses on enabling enterprises to automate complex, decision-heavy processes with reliability, auditability, and full operational control.

What you’ll do:

• Build APIs and backend services using Go (or Python)
• Design event-driven architectures with Kafka
• Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and cloud databases
• Develop microservices with Docker and Kubernetes
• Integrate AI and LLM-driven components
• Support CI/CD pipelines and production monitoring

What they're looking for:

• Strong backend experience in cloud environments
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems
• Kafka and event-driven architecture experience
• Solid database knowledge (SQL & NoSQL)
• Comfort with modern DevOps workflows
