Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 8+ years of professional experience in DevOps roles, with at least several years in a people management or team leadership position.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience in leading and managing DevOps teams, including coaching, mentoring, performance management, and team development.
• Strong proficiency in collaborative problem-solving, design thinking, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within DevOps practices.
• Extensive hands-on experience in designing, scaling, and operating containerized and orchestrated environments, particularly with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Huawei Cloud, including:
• Compute, storage, networking, and IAM
• Cost optimization and capacity planning
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices; strong experience with Ansible, with a preference for SaltStack.
• Advanced working knowledge of Linux systems (power user or administrator level), including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting using Python, Bash, or similar languages to improve DevOps efficiency and reliability.
• Experience managing production environments involving message brokers and caching technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, or Varnish.
• Strong experience in building, operating, and continuously improving production-grade DevOps environments, including:
• Monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies
• Tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack
• Experience with high availability (HA), disaster recovery, and operational continuity in DevOps-managed systems.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Go (GoLang) or other modern programming languages.
• Experience designing, implementing, and scaling CI/CD pipelines and workflows, using tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with or interest in Chaos Engineering principles and tools within DevOps practices.
• Ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment, take ownership, and make independent decisions.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to align DevOps technical decisions with business objectives.
