Software Developer Intern (Golang)

We are looking for a passionate and curious Golang Intern to join our backend engineering team. This internship is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in building high-performance, scalable systems using Go (Golang).

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of backend services and APIs using Go
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver reliable microservices
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices
• Debug, test, and optimize code for performance and scalability
• Learn and assist with containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Contribute to documentation and technical specs

Requirements:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of Golang programming language
• Understanding of REST APIs and microservice architecture
• Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
• Exposure to Git, Docker, or any CI/CD pipelines is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience with Go through personal projects or coursework
• Exposure to message queues, API gateways, or cloud platforms
• Interest in distributed systems or high-concurrency applications
