In this role, you will work closely with UI designers, product managers, and developers to create user-centered designs that improve usability and streamline sophisticated workflows. Your expertise in user research, interaction design, and prototyping will be crucial in delivering intuitive, high-quality experiences that meet both client needs and industry expectations.
Your responsibilities will look like:
- Lead UX Design Efforts: Drive user experience initiatives from concept to implementation, ensuring usability and consistency across products.
- User Research and Analysis: Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and find opportunities for improvement.
- Prototype and Interaction Design: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that communicate clear workflows and user interactions.
- Collaboration with UI and Product Teams: Work closely with UI designers, product managers, and developers to align UX strategies with project goals and technical requirements.
- UX Documentation: Create and maintain UX documentation, including personas, journey maps, and usability reports, to guide design decisions and track improvements.
- Usability Standards Compliance: Ensure all designs meet industry standards and best practices, enhancing product usability and driving adoption.
- Strong proficiency in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Advanced Figma skills: libraries, creating components/variants, styles, responsive UI, and clickable prototypes.
- Proven ability to create information architecture, wireframes, and user journey maps.
- Experience implementing existing brand guidelines into design solutions.
- Expertise in creating and working with user personas.
- Proficiency in planning and conducting user research.
- Skilled in conducting and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with designers, developers, and product managers.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on usability and user-centered design.
- Meticulous in creating designs that are not only functional but also enhance the overall user experience.
- Experience with WCAG.
- Finance industry experience is helpful.
