Software Engineer | $95/hr Remote

Position: Computer Science Expert (PhD)

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $65–$95/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: Part-time, project-based (~20 hours/week, flexible up to 40 hours)

Role Responsibilities

• Create and evaluate complex computer science problems across algorithms, data structures, systems, databases, programming languages, and machine learning
• Review AI-generated responses for conceptual correctness, technical rigor, and domain relevance
• Provide clear written feedback on problem sets, code solutions, and technical explanations
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and engineers to iterate on model performance
• Ensure academic precision and technical accuracy in all computer science training content

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field from a top university
• Strong academic or professional experience in research, teaching, or software engineering
• Deep subject-matter expertise across core computer science domains
• Strong analytical thinking with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail
