£55,000 – £65,000 + Benefits package

Our client is a well established UK technology business who are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join a small team working on a next-generation SIP platform and associated REST APIs. This is a hands-on role where you’ll design, build, and improve platform services, integrations, and AI-powered value-add features.

What You’ll Do

Develop and enhance an enterprise SIP/VoIP platform and associated services.

Build integrations with external systems, including voice recognition, transcription, and sentiment-analysis AI services.

Ensure secure software design and development, following best practices and compliance standards (ISO27001, PCI-DSS).

Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve SIP/RTP platform issues.

Contribute to improving secure development processes, policies, and automation.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong understanding of SIP/VoIP protocols (SDP, RTP, RFC2833/4733).
• 5+ years of experience with Python or another OO language.
• Experience with HTTP/REST APIs, Flask/Django, SQLAlchemy, Pytest, Jinja.
• Linux (Ubuntu) proficiency, Docker, and Git/GitHub.
• Experience in secure systems design at software and network levels.
• Wireshark experience for SIP/RTP analysis.
