Lead Tester

EPAM is looking for enthusiastic people to join newly formed Performance playtesting testing team for AAA game platform. Your role will be to facilitate best-in-class gaming experience and fair competitive environment for people across the whole spectrum of players.

Responsibilities:

• Understand current and proposed future changes to the playtest schedule and coverage requirements
• Supervise day-to-day tasking of testers to ensure the highest priority testing tasks are completed
• Track and report on team activity, including but not limited to attendance, challenges, and escalations
• Review testers' effectiveness for the project
• Participate in staffing activities
• Troubleshoot and escalate found defects and situations that impact the team's ability to complete daily assignments

Must Requirements:

• At least 5 years of Software Testing experience, experience in game testing is a plus
• B2 level of English
• Work from office, starting 9-9:30AM
• Ability to join planned weekend overtime shifts, once per quarter
• Expert understanding of project documentation
• Ability to provide good-quality functional requirements, conduct specification review and analysis
• Experience in planning testing activities for a team, as well as executing, and results reporting
• Advanced experience installing and running builds on Consoles/Mobile devices and training others to perform these activities
• Can coordinate a workstream of 5-20 Testers in an established project or organize testing from scratch
• Experience in knowledge transfers, onboarding and upskilling others
• Expert level of knowledge of Software Quality Control process and SDLC
• Expected to have proven experience in evaluating theoretical knowledge and practical skills and the seniority level of candidates and providing actionable feedback and recommendations on positions/projects matching
• Gamer with experience in at least a couple of titles and genres

Nice to Have:

• Game testing experience
• ISTQB certification

• Discrete, able to comply with requirements to work with protected client information
