Backend Software Engineer | Networking Solutions

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to strengthen our developers team in Kaunas, Lithuania. You will work with the leading networking solutions in the world and master your skills.

Teltonika's networking solutions business unit develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment, primarily routers, switches, gateways, and modems. Our networking devices serve clients in the most complex areas of Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.

In this role, you will:

• Design, implement, maintain embedded Linux software of IoT devices
• Develop and maintain our own API framework that is being used by other R&D teams
• Analyse and implement new technologies
• Collaborate with team and solve complex problems
  
  

What we expect of you:

• 2+ years of experience in C programming;
• 2+ years of experience working with various API's
• 2+ years of experience in Shell/Python scripting;
• Knowledge of Git version control system;
• Knowledge of Linux based systems;
• Good written and verbal English skills
  
  

Ideally, you'll also have:

• Technical education;
• Experience in working with IoT devices
• Knowledge of computer networking
• Knowledge of cybersecurity
• Experience in Lua programming
• Experience of working with OpenWrt

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 20 Eur/h up to 40 Eur/h (:3467 Eur— 6933 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.
