B2B Freelance Contract
Duration: 10 Feb 2026 – 31 Dec 2027 (with possible 12-month extension)
Type: Onsite (5 Days a week)
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to provide support and maintenance for critical financial applications within a large international organization. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, coordinating IT service processes, and ensuring smooth release and deployment cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee change, incident, problem, and release management.
• Set up and maintain deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Act as single point of contact for IT users and stakeholders.
• Perform root cause analysis and propose automation improvements.
• Maintain applications, tools, and operational documentation.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong knowledge of DevOps methodologies and ITIL best practices.
• Expertise in Sybase and Oracle databases.
• Proficiency in scripting (Unix Bash, Groovy) and programming (Python, Java).
• Experience with web servers (Tomcat, nginx, Apache) and middleware (JBOSS EAP).
• Hands-on with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Nexus, Sonar, Jira, Ansible.
• Solid OS monitoring/debugging (Linux/Windows).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills in English.
