🔎We are looking for a Business Analyst – Finance and Risk
Main tasks
- Coordinate the closing calendar, ensuring deadlines and data delivery milestones are met.
- Manage and maintain reference data across systems (MDM/RFR).
- Monitor and control daily data production within the RFA, RFC and IR2 data chains.
- Provide 1st-level functional support to end‑users, handling questions, issues and incidents.
- Define, execute and validate test plans (functional tests, regression, acceptance).
- Create and update functional documentation, including procedures, working instructions, validation statements, release notes and data models.
- Perform operational permanent controls to ensure data quality, completeness and consistency.
- Follow up on data loads, reconciliations and integration flows across Finance, Risk and ALMT systems.
- Support enhancement initiatives of the Data Warehouse and reporting systems (FINREP, Liquidity, Risk, ALM, IFRS9).
Your Profile and Skills
Experience & Background
- 3 to 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Analyst in Finance, Risk, ALM or Data Warehouse environments.
- Hands‑on experience in functional administration, user support and production monitoring.
- Solid experience in test plan definition, execution and validation.
Technical Skills
- Strong SQL skills (mandatory) — data analysis, investigation, query writing.
- Experience with SAS Enterprise Guide.
- Working knowledge of Power BI for reporting and control.
- Added value: familiarity with Risk, Finance, ALM and regulatory reporting concepts.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Highly organised, rigorous and reliable in handling processes and deadlines.
- Clear communication skills with both business and technical teams.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify improvements and resolve issues autonomously.
- Team‑oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a multicultural international environment.
- Hybrid work model, with presence required in either Lisbon or Porto, depending on candidate location.
