Overview of the Role

As a Front End Software Engineer at HCLTech, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of cutting-edge software solutions for global clients. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance web applications that meet stringent security and usability standards. Your work will directly impact the company's ability to deliver innovative products and services, enhancing HCLTech’s reputation as a technology leader.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable front-end applications using React and JavaScript.
• Architect and implement advanced state management solutions for frontend clients utilizing libraries such as Redux or Mobx.
• Integrate and consume REST APIs and Websockets to deliver seamless, real-time web experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software features.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including source control management, configuration, and continuous integration pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with software security requirements and contribute to the implementation of Secure SDLC practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance to provide the best possible user experience.
• Maintain clear documentation of code, processes, and best practices for ongoing development and team knowledge sharing.

Skill Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency with React and JavaScript, including advanced understanding of the React ecosystem.
• Strong experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Mobx.
• Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs and Websockets into frontend applications.
• Solid understanding of SDLC processes, including version control (e.g., Git), configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of software security principles and experience working within Secure SDLC frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Other Requirements (Optional)

• Experience with additional JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, or DevOps practices.
• Prior exposure to enterprise-scale applications or multinational environments.
• Relevant certifications in frontend development, cloud technologies, or security frameworks.
• Passion for continuous learning and contributing to open-source projects.
