Scrum Master / Project Manager - Healthcare - Remote

  • Lead Agile Delivery: Serve as Scrum Master for cross-functional teams delivering healthcare products, ensuring adherence to Agile practices and continuous improvement.
  • Agile Coaching: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and coach teams on Agile best practices.
  • Impediment Removal & Team Collaboration: Identify and remove obstacles, foster collaboration, and maintain a productive team environment.
  • Project Management: Oversee project milestones and timelines, ensuring successful delivery by coordinating between business and IT stakeholders.
  • AI & Healthcare Focus: Support AI-driven product development within a complex healthcare environment, understanding regulatory and clinical/payer/provider landscapes.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Use Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down, cycle time) to track progress and drive improvements in delivery.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to manage expectations and project alignment.
  • Agile Transformation: Promote Agile adoption and maturity across teams and departments, contributing to organizational transformation.
  • Tool Utilization: Utilize tools such as Jira and Rally (transitioning to Jira), and experience with CoPilot.
  • Compliance: Ensure project activities adhere to healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FDA) and best practices.
  • Communication: Exhibit exceptional communication skills, working with charismatic teams to drive engagement and results.

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • 8+ years as a Scrum Master, preferably in large enterprise healthcare environments.
  • Strong Agile, Scrum, and Project Management skills.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM).
  • Healthcare industry expertise (payer, provider, health tech, or life sciences).
  • Experience with Agile tools (Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps, Confluence).
  • Background in healthcare informatics, EHR systems, or medical imaging is a plus.
  • Experience in scaled Agile environments or Agile transformations.
  • Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership abilities.
