About the role

As Solution Cloud Architect you will work in a team with other architects to make different scenarios for the rationalization of a very large and heterogenous landscape in one of the departments of the client. The technology landscape is very heterogeneous, and together with the enterprise architect you will come up with a clear roadmap and vision on how this landscape could evolve in the future.

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Translate a (complex) business or IT problem into solution building blocks on the technology layer.
• Help setup a cloud based development/devops stack
• Experience in AWS or/and Azure
• Working out a vision
• Guiding the implementation
• Assist other project stakeholders in capturing system requirements.
• Define and document the architecture by describing the architectural decisions and architectural views that have been developed to address the concerns of the stakeholders.
• Fluent in Dutch is mandatory
• 2 days onsite in Brussels

Who you are

You have minimum 5 years of experience as Cloud Architect or a proven track record of at least 10 years in IT within a large organization:

• You play with modelling techniques using industry standard notations (ArchiMate, UML...) and tools (Sparx EA).
• Experience in Cloud Architecture, minimum 3 years
• Experience in AWS or/and Azure (ideally both)
• You have a degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
• You are bitten by technology, and passionate to keep up-to-date with evolving technologies.
