Technical Support Engineer (Mechanical Engineer)

About the project:

Technical support for buses in the mechanical field (HVAC, doors) at international service sites.​

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Defining system requirements in cooperation with internal departments and suppliers
• Serving as the first point of contact for questions regarding the body (HVAC, door systems, covers, applications), after-sales issues, and responsibility for providing answers
• Providing worldwide technical support for all types of buses
• Resolving defects in vehicles delivered to customers
• Participating in cross-departmental committees and meetings

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Experience in the automotive industry as well as in the development and application of body systems
• Knowledge of core engineering processes such as FMEA and vehicle diagnostic and analysis tools like CAN/CANalyzer
• Preferable knowledge of engineering tools, e.g., INDIGO
• Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English and/or German
• Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally and domestically
