About the Role
The company is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support recurring financial and operational reporting. This role focuses on organizing, consolidating, and maintaining accurate data across multiple systems, with Excel serving as a central tool for reporting and analysis. The position supports both finance and leadership teams through consistent, structured weekly reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Log into multiple web-based platforms and retailer portals to run predefined weekly reports
- Extract sales, units, revenue, and operational metrics and record them accurately in Excel dashboards and KPI trackers
- Maintain consistent week-over-week reporting to support financial and operational decision-making
- Update and manage KPI spreadsheets used by finance and leadership teams, including marketing performance metrics
- Pull profit and loss reports from accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks or Sage) and input data into existing Excel consolidation templates
- Make minor adjustments within multi-tab Excel models to ensure accurate consolidation and logical tie-outs
- Perform basic data validation checks, including currency conversions and reconciliation of reported figures
- Follow detailed reporting instructions while independently identifying inconsistencies or anomalies in data
- Support ad hoc data and reporting requests as needed
What We’re Looking For (Preferred Qualifications)
- Strong conversational English skills, with clear written and spoken communication
- Intermediate Excel skills, including multi-sheet workbooks and structured templates
- Experience navigating multiple online systems and reporting portals with accuracy and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail and reliability with repetitive reporting tasks
- Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow structured processes while identifying potential data issues
- Experience in data, reporting, operations, or analyst roles is a plus
- Familiarity with accounting systems such as QuickBooks or Sage
- Basic understanding of financial statements, particularly profit and loss reports
- Experience supporting KPI reporting, marketing performance tracking, or exposure to Power BI or other BI tools
- Background in finance, accounting, economics, data analytics, or related fields is valued
