Software Engineer (Java) - Cloud & Platform

What will you do at Entringo?

• Collaborate closely with our product team to build scalable, intuitive, and high-performing web applications.
• Take part in transforming our primarily on-premise products into a modern, cloud-native solution.
• Help unify two existing products into a single, coherent platform that is easy to deploy, operate, and monitor.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust frontend and backend systems.
• Actively contribute to architectural decisions — your ideas will directly shape the future of the product.
• Work with containerized environments (Docker today, Kubernetes in the future).
• Integrate third-party services and internal APIs.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation.
• Take ownership of features end-to-end — from concept through deployment and iteration.

You’ll be a great fit if you:

• Have 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Have hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or similar technologies.
• Are comfortable working with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Have experience integrating systems via REST APIs.
• Have experience with or strong interest in Docker and cloud-native architectures.
• Enjoy working on complex systems and simplifying them.
• Are curious about infrastructure, deployment, and observability — even if you’re not a DevOps specialist.
• Like having real influence over technical decisions rather than just implementing predefined solutions.
• You have a good command of Estonian and English.

Nice to have, but not essential:

• Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Experience migrating or modernizing legacy systems.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
