Your new role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will provide technical expertise to enable the correct application of operational procedures. You will use infrastructure management tools to determine load and performance statistics and will contribute to the planning and implementation of maintenance and installation work, including building and configuration of infrastructure components in virtualised environments.
You will implement agreed infrastructure changes and maintenance routines, and will configure tools to automate the provisioning, testing and deployment of new and changed infrastructure. A major part of your role would be to identify operational problems, contribute to their resolution, checking that they are managed in accordance with agreed standards and procedures, and to provide reports and proposals for improvement, to specialists, users, and managers.
What you need to succeed
- Australian citizenship and a current baseline security clearance is required.
- Previous experience in a DevOps engineering role.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows.
- Experience in .Net framework, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PowerShell, or Python would be highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
