We are looking for a technically strong Data Specialist with deep/advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel to provide technical and analytical support to HR, Payroll, and Compensation & Benefits.

The role requires someone who can work with large datasets, troubleshoot Excel and system issues, and automate manual processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automate workflows, reporting, and data processing using Excel, Macros, VBA, and MS Access.
• Build, design, and maintain Excel-based models, dashboards, and trackers; support Power BI where needed.
• Merge and consolidate data from multiple systems using Power Query and Power Pivot.
• Troubleshoot Excel and system-related issues, remove bugs, clear caches, and optimize file performance.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports.
• Generate and deliver timely MIS reports for HR, Payroll, and C&B teams.
• Extract and convert data from PDFs, Word documents, images, and system exports into structured Excel datasets.
• Perform data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation for HR, Payroll, and C&B data.
• Document processes, models, and automation logic for audits and handovers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Skills & Experience

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills: Power Query, Power Pivot, formulas, data models, Macros/VBA.
• Ability to handle large datasets efficiently.
• Knowledge of Python or SQL.
• Experience with Power BI for reporting and dashboards.
• Familiarity with Zoho or other HRIS/ERP systems.
• Exposure to OCR/data extraction tools for structured data from unstructured sources.
• Experience with automated scheduling, data refresh, or system integration workflows.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
