Are you passionate about maintaining and improving network infrastructure and security?


Our client requires a skilled Network & Systems Engineer to join their infrastructure team.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor & maintain network security, systems and performance to meet organisational needs
  • Manage Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, system patching, backups and service deployments
  • Oversee network security, including firewalls and filters, and address threats promptly
  • Prepare reports, resolve issues, and maintain technical documentation and policies
  • Act as an election point for complex issues, ensuring through troubleshooting


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related area
  • Experience with VMware, Cisco Hyperflex and virtualised environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Active Directory, Office365, Intune, Sharepoint, Exchange, SQL server, Veeam and Center
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco/ experience with Meraki stack (preferred not required)
  • Must be skilled in network security tools such as Palo Alto Firewalls (or any firewalls exp)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ideally seeking a Mid-Senior Level
