Our challenge

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex banking technology programs. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable solutions.



Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within NYC is $130k - $140k/year & benefits (see below).



The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex banking technology programs, ensuring seamless coordination among cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
  • Drive Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies, serving as Scrum Master or TPM, managing sprint planning, backlogs, dependencies, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with business, compliance, and engineering stakeholders to translate banking requirements into executable technical roadmaps.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills to effectively manage global teams and align with executive expectations.



Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale IT or banking technology projects.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and other project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and global teams.
  • Risk management and problem-solving skills.



Preferred Skill:

  • Certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or relevant Agile certifications.
  • Experience in banking or financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of banking compliance and security standards.
  • Programming or technical background is a plus.
  • Experience with project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, etc.
