Job Title : System Engineer (AWS)

Location: In-Office Hyderabad, Telangana, India (full-time role)

Work Experience: 2 - 4 years

Salary Range : 4 - 4.2 LPA

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced System Engineer (AWS) to design, manage, and optimize secure, scalable, and highly available cloud and on-premise infrastructure. The role requires deep expertise in AWS services, system administration, and infrastructure security, along with strong troubleshooting and operational ownership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and related services.
  • Monitor system performance, ensure high availability, and proactively resolve infrastructure issues.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices including access control, firewalls, network security, and compliance standards.
  • Plan and manage backup strategies and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Administer and support Linux and Windows servers.
  • Install, configure, and maintain system software, patches, and updates.
  • Automate routine tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code where applicable.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments in coordination with development teams.
  • Maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Provide L3-level support and root cause analysis for critical incidents.

Mandatory Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform
  • EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch
  • Linux & Windows system administration
  • Networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancers, VPN, Firewalls)
  • Backup & disaster recovery planning
  • Security best practices and compliance implementation
  • Monitoring & troubleshooting tools
  • Scripting (Bash / PowerShell / Python – preferred)

Soft Skills & Other Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in production support environments
  • Team-oriented mindset with ownership attitude

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certification (Solutions Architect / SysOps / DevOps) – Plus
  • Experience in Agile / DevOps environments
  • Exposure to containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) – Advantage
