Senior Linux/DevOps Engineer (PAM)

Overview

NTT Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Linux/DevOps Engineer with expertise in Privileged Access Management (PAM) to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. This role supports business-as-usual (BAU) operations and is based primarily in Sydney, with Melbourne and Brisbane as alternative locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert Linux systems administration and operations support focused on security and PAM solutions.
• Implement, manage, and maintain DevOps automation and infrastructure tooling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure privileged access across the enterprise environment.
• Support infrastructure deployment, monitoring, and proactive incident management.
• Assist with compliance and audit readiness relating to privileged access controls.
• Perform troubleshooting to resolve Linux system and infrastructure issues effectively.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated experience in senior-level Linux system administration and DevOps practices.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) technologies and best practices.
• Ability to obtain a baseline security clearance and willingness to undergo a National Police Check prior to engagement start.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale environments with strong security and process compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with NTT Ltd. or similar large-scale technology organizations.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Certifications related to Linux, security, or DevOps practices (e.g., RHCE, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are advantageous.
