As an SRE in VeepeeTech you will be a part of the transversal SRE community and at the same time integrate an agile product team.

You will ensure the system’s reliability and scalability of our on premise K8S Cloud solution, apply DevOps practices and share knowledge within the SRE community by taking the ownership of the main automation and deployment processes.

You will also support team members with the technical challenges they might face and assure the smooth communication on the functional level.

Missions

  • We invite you to join the VeepeeTech adventure in the SRE team of the Foundation department, which has about 80 people and which missions are to:
  • Maintain and develop our K8S Cloud Solution
  • Implement deployment tools and industrialization processes (CI/CD, blue/green, canary, rollback, etc.)
  • Automate the provisioning of resilient infrastructure that meets product needs
  • Work with development teams to facilitate regular production releases
  • Maintain services in operational conditions, analyze and resolve anomalies related to performance and scalability (load tests) of current and historical deployments
  • Supervise the application park in collaboration with the Network Operations Center (MOM), manage access and security
  • Evangelize on DevOps best practices and participate in building a true cross-sectional SRE community within Veepee

  • Our distributed infrastructure across several data centers in Europe, comprises more than 800 physical devices, 9000 virtual machines, and handles over 65,000 transactions per day

Culture And Experience

  • Knowledge of industrialization processes, agile methods, gitflow, and general DevOps practices combined with good system knowledge
  • Experience with high-availability production environments
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
