DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer for one of our customers based in Luxembourg. The selected candidate will support and coordinate DevOps, release, and IT service management activities, ensuring stable operations, efficient deployments, and continuous improvement of processes in a DevOps environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage Change, Incident, Problem, Deployment, and Release Management activities

Set up, maintain, and support customer release and deployment processes

Act as a coordinator within IT Service Management (ITSM) processes

Package and document releases in line with customer policies

Provide operational and support activities, acting as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for IT users and relevant internal divisions

Take ownership of requests and issues through to resolution

Review existing processes and propose automation and improvement initiatives

Produce, review, and maintain operational documentation

Assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations

Set up and maintain applications and tools across all technical layers

Use DevOps tools to support CI/CD pipelines

Required Knowledge & Experience

Software development methodologies and release management in a DevOps environment

ITIL best practices

Databases: Sybase and Oracle

Scripting: Unix Bash, Groovy, or equivalent

Programming: Python, Java, or equivalent

Web & application servers: Tomcat, Nginx, Apache

Version control systems: GitHub, Azure DevOps

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Excellent coordination and collaboration skills.
