Profile: Senior Backend Engineer


Responsibilities:

  • Developing new features and maintaining a module within Daimler Buses OON Portal.
  • It is important that the person has familiarity with API design and architecture.
  • Familiarity with the operational side, monitoring and analysing data.
  • Be comfortable working by exploring solutions and, at times, without all requirements fully defined.

Requirements:

  • Java, Kotlin
  • APIs knowledge
  • Database knowledge
  • Autonomy and initiative

Nice to have:

  • Flink, Kafka Streams, Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Presto, Athena, Glue, EMR, etc.
  • Observability
  • Infrastructure knowledge
  • CI|CD Pipelines
  • Grafana, Loki, Prometheus stack
  • Azure Environment knowledge
