Canada · Contract · Associate

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to join an enterprise retail company. This is a remote role based in Vancouver, BC, running through January 2027. This PM will support the optimization of the company’s current freight audit and pay provider, while primarily leading the kickoff and implementation of a new provider. The company is currently in the Request for Information (RFI) phase of vendor selection, and this role will be heavily involved in the subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP) process. You will gain visibility into each prospective tool, participate in demos, and receive onboarding support from the current PM, who is transitioning to a new role. This includes managing timelines, responsibilities, functional solution design, UAT, and hypercare. A strong understanding of freight audit and pay processes, as well as logistics, is critical. Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally with diverse stakeholders will be key to success. Responsibilities include:

  • Execute core project management duties, including managing timelines, risks, and issues, and supporting issue resolution.
  • Assist with business process mapping and collaborate with external platform vendors to ensure operational needs are met.
  • Work closely with technology PMs and external vendor PMs to track multi‑project delivery.
  • Apply critical thinking to define processes, schedules, and end‑to‑end project timelines from inception to go‑live.
  • Document business problem statements and identify cross‑functional solutions.
  • Manage multiple workstreams, prioritize effectively, and adapt to shifting requirements.
  • Collaborate with technology and product partners to support business requirements.
  • Maintain and track RAID log items with strong follow‑through.
  • Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, from day‑to‑day project updates to senior leadership reviews.
  • Document future‑state process maps, system flows, and data flows.
  • Champion best practices in data standards, policies, and procedures.
