Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated PHP Developer to join our development team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and

maintaining dynamic web applications and backend systems using PHP and related

technologies. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, designers, product

managers, and QA teams to deliver scalable, high-performance applications.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for

writing clean, efficient, and secure code.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and modern frameworks

(Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter)

  • Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
  • Manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar) including schema design and

query optimization

  • Ensure application security and data protection
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Assist in deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in PHP (7.x or 8.x)
  • Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and database design
  • Familiarity with MVC architecture
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Understanding of web security best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with front-end frameworks (Vue.js, React, or Angular)
  • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of Linux server environments
  • Experience with PHPUnit or other testing frameworks

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (B.Sc)
  • B.Tech

Certifications

  • Zend Certified PHP Engineer
  • PHP Certification by W3Schools or similar platforms
  • Laravel Certification
  • AWS Certified Developer - Associate
  • MySQL Database Certification

Experience

  • 2-5 years of professional experience in PHP development (depending on seniority

level)

  • Proven experience developing production-ready web applications
