Software Engineer (Frontend/UX)

We're growing rapidly and are seeking Software Engineers at multiple levels of experience - from early career to experienced professionals - to build the next generation of our Talent Cloud platform through scalable back-end services and APIs that power our AI-driven talent acquisition solutions.

You'll work primarily on cloud-native back-end services whilst also contributing to full-stack initiatives as our technology stack evolves. Our current ecosystem includes TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and Java, and you'll collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineers in a culture that values innovation, ownership, and continuous learning.

This is a hybrid position based at Windmill Lane, Dublin 2, our strategic hub for AI development in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable user interfaces using React and TypeScript, and REST API services using Node.js
• Integrate AI, large language models, natural language processing and agentic capabilities into production services
• Ensure services are reliable, secure, and performant in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with product managers to define requirements and with engineers and data scientists across the stack to deliver incremental features
• Write comprehensive automated tests and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
• Contribute to full-stack development when needed, including front-end work with React
• Apply and improve engineering practices
• Mentor associate software engineers and learn and adapt as our technology stack evolves
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in at least one at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, or React
• Experience with SPA and REST API-based architectures and modern software engineering practices (e.g., CI/CD, testing, code reviews, agile methodologies)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with intellectual curiosity
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across both technical and non-technical teams

• Exposure to front-end frameworks (e.g., React) is beneficial but not required
