We are supporting our client, an exciting consultancy, who are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with a strong Azure background. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and future-proof cloud infrastructure while working closely with development and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement modern Azure cloud infrastructure
• Automate infrastructure using Bicep and/or Terraform
• Manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps
• Work with both cloud-native architectures (MACH) and existing environments (VMs, App Services)
• Manage identity and access using Entra ID and apply security best practices
• Improve monitoring, availability, and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and tech leads on reliable delivery

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with Azure
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep and/or Terraform)
• Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines
• Knowledge of Entra ID, Azure security, networking, and core services
• Experience with hub-and-spoke architectures is a plus
• Security-by-design mindset
• Fluent in Dutch and English
