At Beam, DevOps isn’t a support function — it owns the platform. We build and run production-grade infrastructure for modern cloud applications, and we do it properly: code-first, automated, reproducible, and boring in all the right ways.

What You’ll Do

Own the Infrastructure

• Design, deploy, and maintain our Azure infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt
• (We don’t click buttons in portals — ever.)
• Operate and keep our AKS clusters healthy, scalable, and developer-friendly
• Manage core platform services:
• PostgreSQL
• Azure Storage
• Typesense
• Sequin
• Ensure security, reliability, and repeatability across all environments

Run the Pipelines

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (YAML-first)
• Implement GitOps-style deployments using Helmfile and release catalogs
• Create reusable pipeline templates for:
• .NET 8 applications
• Next.js applications
• Fully automate environment provisioning:
• dev, QA, staging, production

Collaborate with Developers

• Support product teams building with .NET 8 and Next.js
• Own container workflows:
• Docker builds
• Image registries
• Deployment strategies
• You won’t write application code —
• but you will make sure it gets built, deployed, and runs smoothly in production

What We’re Looking For

Must-haves

• Terraform / Terragrunt
• Real-world experience — not just tutorials
• Azure
• Hands-on with:
• AKS
• Azure Container Registry
• Azure Storage
• Managed Identity
• Key Vault
• Kubernetes & Helm / Helmfile
• You’ve deployed real applications, not just read blog posts
• Azure DevOps Pipelines
• YAML pipelines, templates, variable groups
• PostgreSQL
• Basic operations and ideally some performance tuning
• Git
• Branching strategies, PR workflows, multi-repo automation

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Typesense or Sequin
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
• Monitoring & observability setup (logs, metrics, alerts)
• Docker multi-stage builds
