Artificial Intelligence Engineer

We are seeking an AI Consultant Engineer to be part of an innovative project in a top tier fintech organization.

The focus is to help design and orchestrate virtual AI teams (multi-agent systems) that collaborate like human teams — including role assignment, task decomposition, and feedback loops — to deliver scalable, autonomous solutions.

What you will do

• Work with the team on AI model analysis and improvements.
• Build and test AI integrations (mainly with Python).
• Support experiments with LLMs and multi-agent systems.
• Do market and technology research on AI trends.
• Execute data preparation, pipelines, and evaluation tasks.
• Work on how to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.

Hands-on Requirements

• Python programming.
• Knowledge of ML/AI frameworks.
• Curiosity about LLMs, LangChain, or agent-based systems.
• Familiarity with APIs and use of SQL or Pandas for data handling.
• Willingness to learn about cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containers (Docker).

Profile

• At least 1 year of experience in AI projects (academic, internship, or professional).
• Comfortable working in English (mandatory).
• Proactive and hands-on mindset, with interest in both coding and research.
• Available for on-site work in Porto (1x per week).
