Senior / Founding Full-Stack Engineer (AI-Powered Commerce) About the product

We’re building a new kind of AI-powered commerce experience.

Our B2C product helps people design and shop for fully styled furniture spaces using a single prompt and a single, seamless flow. Instead of juggling dozens of tabs and decisions, users get instantly shoppable rooms tailored to their taste.

The product is currently in MVP stage and already live. We’re now focused on turning a strong early product into a scalable, reliable platform.

The role

We’re looking for our first engineering hire to join shortly after the founding CTO, who built the initial version of the product end-to-end.

This is a high-ownership role with real influence on both the product and the technical foundations of the company. You’ll work across the stack, make key architectural decisions, and help define how engineering is done as the team grows.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

• Own and evolve core parts of the product and system architecture
• Help transition the MVP into production-ready, scalable systems
• Build and refine AI-driven workflows that are reliable, efficient, and user-facing
• Balance speed of iteration with long-term technical quality
• Collaborate closely with the founding team on product and technical direction
• Help set engineering standards, practices, and culture for future hires

• Designing agentic AI workflows for a real B2C product
• Managing trade-offs between latency, cost, and output quality in multimodal GenAI systems
• Creating an architecture that supports rapid experimentation without becoming fragile
• Combining classic full-stack engineering with AI-native development patterns
  
  

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a builder with a strong engineering foundation and an interest in AI-driven products.

You’re Likely a Good Fit If You Have

• Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, and MongoDB in production systems
• Proficiency in Python, especially for AI-related or backend workflows
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI systems beyond simple prompt usage
• Familiarity with agentic architectures and multimodal models
• Experience using AI-native development tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT Codex)
• A systems-oriented mindset and comfort working in early-stage environments
  
  

Previous startup or early-stage experience is a plus.
