Data & Ai Technologies Manager

We are looking for a Data Technologies Manager to join our growing Data & AI organization. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and delivery of modern data platforms across client projects. You will own the data technology stack, guide delivery teams, and ensure data solutions are aligned with both technical and business objectives.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines deep technical expertise, delivery ownership, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and continuously evolve the data technology stack used across client projects, including cloud data platforms, data engineering, and analytics foundations
• Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of data-focused projects from architecture design to production deployment
• Define, maintain, and enforce data architecture standards, best practices, and reference designs
• Guide teams on data ingestion, transformation, modeling, analytics enablement, and AI/ML data pipelines
• Review and approve data architectures, pipelines, and platform designs to ensure scalability, security, and performance
• Identify and resolve complex technical challenges during project delivery
• Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for clients during delivery and pre-sales phases, including RFPs, solution design workshops, and technical presentations
• Support proposal preparation and solution positioning by contributing technical expertise and architecture input
• Lead, mentor, and develop data engineers and platform teams, fostering technical excellence and best practices
• Evaluate new tools, technologies, and vendors; contribute to build vs. buy decisions and platform roadmap planning
• Drive strategic alignment across Data units (Data Engineering, BI, and Data Governance)
• Transform the Data & AI function from reactive support into a proactive growth partner
• Improve delivery efficiency by reducing project timelines, increasing predictability, and optimizing resource allocation
• Ensure data platforms, governance models, and AI/ML solutions are scalable and strategically aligned with business goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, or analytics solutions
• At least 3 years of experience in a technical leadership or managerial role
• Strong experience with modern data architectures, including:
• Cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Data warehouses and/or lakehouse architectures (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery)
• ETL / ELT pipelines and orchestration tools
• Solid understanding of:
• Data modeling and analytics engineering
• Data quality, governance, and security principles
• Agile delivery methodologies
• Proven experience delivering client-facing data projects in consulting or system integrator environments
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience supporting pre-sales activities, solution design, and customer-facing technical discussions
• Familiarity with AI/ML analytics platforms and data pipelines
• Cloud and data platform certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, etc.) are a strong advantage
