Network & Security Solution Architect

We are seeking a senior-level Network & Security Solution Architect with extensive experience in designing and implementing enterprise network and security architectures. This role is focused on architecture ownership, not day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in on-prem and cloud (Azure) network security, hands-on expertise with Fortinet, Palo Alto, and F5, and proven experience working with a system integrator or OEM. The role also requires deep understanding of UAE security and compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-scale network and security solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of network security architectures using Fortinet and Palo Alto platforms.
• Architect and secure Azure networking environments, including native Azure security controls.
• Design and implement load balancing solutions using F5 or AVI, covering both L4 and L7 use cases.
• Design and integrate additional enterprise security solutions such as:
• Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Hardware Security Modules (HSM)
• SD-WAN
• Encryption solutions
• Secure Proxy
• Zero Trust Architecture
• Produce and maintain High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
• Ensure all solutions comply with UAE regulatory frameworks and international security standards.
• Participate in security assessments, risk analysis, and architecture reviews.
• Support incident response, security operations, and architecture-level decision-making.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, scalable solutions.

Mandatory Requirements (Shortlisting Criteria)

Experience

• 12+ years of experience in network and security architecture
• Proven experience in a System Integrator or OEM environment
• Demonstrated ownership of solution design and implementation
• Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments

Core Technical Expertise (Must-Have)

• Fortinet (FortiGate) – architecture, design, and implementation
• Palo Alto Networks – architecture, design, and implementation
• Azure Networking & Security – VNets, routing, firewalling, native security services
• F5 or AVI Load Balancers – L4 & L7 design and implementation

Security Architecture Exposure (At least one required)

• PAM (Privileged Access Management)
• HSM
• SD-WAN
• Encryption solutions
• Secure Proxy
• Zero Trust Architecture

Compliance & Governance (Mandatory)

• Strong experience with security compliance frameworks, especially:
• UAE-based frameworks (e.g., DESC, NCA)
• ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, SOC 2, HIPAA

Technical Skills

Network & Cloud Security

• Enterprise firewall architecture (Fortinet & Palo Alto)
• Hybrid (on-prem + Azure) network security design
• Load balancing and application delivery security

Security Platforms

• Architecture-level experience with SIEM, SOC, SOAR, EDR, and XDR solutions
• Security assessments and risk mitigation strategies

Automation & Orchestration

• Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM, etc.)
• Scripting for configuration automation and data extraction

Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have)

• CISSP
• CCNP Security or equivalent
