UI/UX Designer - Forms & Document Design

Role Overview

We are seeking a UI/UX Designer with strong experience in eForms, document (PDF) design, accessibility, and enterprise design standards. The ideal candidate will design intuitive, compliant, and scalable form and document experiences while collaborating closely with business, BA, and development teams (including Quadient developers).


Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer
  • Strong experience with form design, document/PDF design, and design systems
  • Solid understanding of accessibility (WCAG)
  • Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments (banking preferred)
  • Strong collaboration skills with business, BA, and development teams


Roles & Responsibilities:

Design & Prototyping

  • Design intuitive, user-friendly eForms and UI layouts (English & French) optimized for completion speed and accuracy
  • Define field layouts, spacing, labels, validations, error states, and contextual help text
  • Ensure consistency across forms while supporting multiple business use cases
  • Design customer- and employee-facing PDFs generated from eForms
  • Define typography, hierarchy, spacing, and visual structure for digital and printable documents

Templates, Variations & Reuse

  • Create and maintain master templates for forms and PDFs
  • Design variations based on business rules, data conditions, and regulatory requirements
  • Document design logic to support efficient development, reuse, and scalability

Standards & Branding

  • Ensure alignment with the Design Library and enterprise branding standards
  • Apply visual guidelines consistently across all forms and documents
  • Identify gaps in existing standards and propose design enhancements
  • Create and maintain design standards and best practices for forms, PDFs, and accessibility

Collaboration & Usability

  • Partner with business stakeholders and Business Analysts to translate requirements into effective design solutions
  • Validate designs against business, regulatory, and compliance needs
  • Incorporate user journey insights and usability feedback to improve clarity, efficiency, and completion rates
  • Balance user experience with operational and compliance constraints

Developer Collaboration (Quadient)

  • Work closely with Quadient developers to ensure designs are technically feasible
  • Adapt designs to platform capabilities and limitations
  • Support implementation by clearly documenting design intent and expected behavior

Accessibility, Quality & Scalability

  • Design forms and PDFs to meet WCAG and accessibility standards
  • Ensure proper contrast, focus order, labels, and screen-reader compatibility
  • Promote reuse of components, layouts, and design patterns to support future growth
