Overview

This is an early-career position where you’ll gain hands-on experience building frontend features, fixing bugs, and learning modern web development practices. You will work with senior engineers and cross-functional partners to deliver customer-first solutions that simplify financial workflows for millions of small businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Implement simple UI features or bug fixes using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS within established architecture.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and product managers in an agile development team.
  • Write well-documented, testable code and participate in code reviews.
  • Assist in integrating frontend components with backend APIs and services.
  • Debug and resolve defects with guidance from more experienced engineers.
  • Learn and apply engineering best practices such as test-driven development (TDD), accessibility, and responsive design.
  • Gain exposure to the Fintech domain, including customer experiences related to invoicing, payments, and money movement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Academic or personal project experience with frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and backend technologies (Java, Python).
  • Understanding of basic programming concepts, version control, and software testing.
  • Willingness to learn secure software development practices and CI/CD workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and a collaborative, growth-oriented attitude.
  • Familiarity with any JavaScript SPA framework (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus.

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Bay Area California $ 55.50- 75.00
