About The Role

We are seeking experienced Product Designers to join our dynamic Product Design team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Engineers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Marketers—to define, design, and deliver user-facing features across various Stripe products. Your primary focus will be to create elegant, functional, and intuitive designs that enhance user experience and align with strategic business goals. You will take ownership of end-to-end design processes, from ideation and prototyping to testing and refinement, ensuring that each product surface meets high standards of quality and usability. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence multiple product areas such as Payments, Revenue & Finance, Seller & Commerce Experiences, Dashboard, Billing, Terminal, and more, with the potential for team matching based on your skills, interests, and location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant product design experience
• A strong portfolio demonstrating solid design fundamentals and polished UI craft
• Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to shape product direction
• Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and stakeholder inputs effectively
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and rationale
• Experience working on ambiguous and complex problems across multiple product areas
• Proven ability to influence team dynamics and product strategy
• Confidence in presenting work to leadership and stakeholders
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
  
  

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, user-centered designs that improve core product surfaces and elevate overall user experience
• Design, prototype, and conduct user testing to create intuitive and straightforward experiences for complex workflows
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to define product strategy and tactical execution
• Develop high-quality UI components that set design standards for Stripe’s products
• Participate actively in design reviews, sharing work regularly, and contributing to a culture of feedback and continuous improvement
• Work closely with UX Research teams to validate design concepts and incorporate user insights into final solutions
• Maintain consistency across products by adhering to design systems and best practices
• Influence product development by effectively communicating design rationale and impact to stakeholders and leadership
