🚀 Contract Full-Stack Engineer (Frontend / UI Focus, AI-Curious)

🏢 London: 1-3 days a week / also UK Remote friendly

We’re supporting a well-funded seed-stage startup who are one of the fastest growing AI startups in Europe, who are looking to make multiple Contract Full-Stack Engineer hires, with a strong frontend / UI focus, to help shape, ship and influence the core product, bridging the gap between POC's and production ready AI systems. This is a hands-on role where craft, speed, and product thinking all matter.

You’ll be joining a small, high-ownership team building from the ground up - ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, rapid iteration, and visible impact, building, building, building.

What You’ll Be Doing

Building and refining high-quality frontend interfaces and user journeys

Turning product/design concepts into polished, responsive UI

• Contributing to backend services and APIs where needed
• Working closely with founders, product, and design in tight feedback loops
• Spinning up POCs and prototypes quickly - experimenting, validating, and iterating fast

What We’re Looking For

Strong frontend engineering skills with good UI/UX sensibility

Solid experience with TypeScript and/or Python

• Comfortable working across the stack, but frontend-leaning

AI-curious mindset - already using tools like Cursor, Claude, Copilot, etc. to accelerate coding and experimentation

Enjoys building scrappy prototypes and testing ideas quickly

• Experience in startup or early-stage environments preferred
• Independent, clear communicator, and product-minded

Tech

• React / Next.js or similar modern frontend frameworks
• TypeScript
• Python or Node.js backend exposure
• AI coding / prototyping tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot, etc.)

Contract Details

• Day Rate: £400–£600 (depending on experience)
• Location: Ideally London hybrid (1-3 days a week), could be remote friendly - must be UK or based in France
• Start: ASAP
