As a Senior Java Developer (Microservices), you will join a strategic project within the Retail industry, leading the development of mission-critical APIs and applications that support shipping and fulfillment operations for high-traffic web and mobile platforms.

This role requires strong and proven experience in Retail environments, working with complex systems, high transaction volumes, and distributed architectures. You will have a key technical leadership role, ensuring scalability, performance, reliability, and high code quality across the platform.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and evolution of Java-based microservices for Retail platforms
• Build and maintain APIs supporting shipping, fulfillment, and logistics workflows
• Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and system reliability
• Participate in production support, monitoring, and troubleshooting of critical applications
• Design scalable solutions for high-volume transactional systems
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in agile environments
• Produce technical documentation and contribute to technical story writing

Experience & Seniority

• 9+ years of professional experience in Java development
• Proven background as a Senior or Lead Java Developer
• Mandatory experience in the Retail industry (minimum 5 years) working with commerce, logistics, shipping, or fulfillment platforms
• Experience leading technical components or initiatives
