Senior Incident Manager

Experis Luxembourg is seeking a Senior Incident Manager & Application Monitoring for one of its clients.

Your role:

1. Application Monitoring & Observability

Design and operate end-to-end observability across business-critical application ecosystems, including:

• Application servers and microservices
• Middleware platforms
• Batch processing and scheduling tools
• File-based integrations and APIs
• Business outputs (payments, reports, client or regulatory files)

Define and implement proactive monitoring strategies focusing on:

• Missing, delayed, or incomplete batch executions
• File integrity checks
• Reconciliation between upstream and downstream systems
• Detection of logical and functional anomalies
• Configure and optimize enterprise monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or equivalent platforms.

Implement smart alerting:

• Noise reduction through correlation, deduplication, and dynamic thresholds
• Context-rich alerts aligned with business impact
• Monitoring based on critical user journeys and service dependencies
• Integrate monitoring solutions for automated incident creation, prioritization, and escalation.

2. Incident Management & Operational Excellence

• Leverage monitoring and observability data to drive fast and efficient incident detection and resolution.
• Own or support the full incident lifecycle - early detection, impact reduction
• Contribute to Major Incident Management, including technical coordination and war-room facilitation.
• Feed monitoring insights into Problem and Change Management to prevent recurrence.

Your profile:

• Strong hands-on experience in application monitoring, and observability.
• Proven expertise with enterprise monitoring platforms.
• Experience implementing monitoring for end-to-end business processes.
• Good knowledge of ITIL-based Incident and Problem Management processes.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
