Your Mission
We are looking for a Team Leader – Telecom Operations to lead and coordinate a team responsible for the day-to-day operation of mobile, fixed, and TV networks.
In this role, you will ensure service availability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement of network operations while managing and developing a team of telecom engineers.
You will act as a key interface between Operations, NOC, Engineering, and Customer Support, ensuring efficient incident management, SLA compliance, and high-quality service delivery.

Your Mission
We are looking for a Team Leader – Telecom Operations to lead and coordinate a team responsible for the day-to-day operation of mobile, fixed, and TV networks.
In this role, you will ensure service availability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement of network operations while managing and developing a team of telecom engineers.
You will act as a key interface between Operations, NOC, Engineering, and Customer Support, ensuring efficient incident management, SLA compliance, and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of mobile and fixed telecom operators and engineers
- Organize team activities
- Set objectives, monitor performance, and conduct regular feedback and performance reviews
- Develop a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations of mobile, fixed, and TV networks
- Ensure proactive monitoring and rapid resolution of incidents and service degradations
- Guarantee adherence to operational procedures and best practices
- Act as an escalation point for critical incidents and major outages
- Coordinate with NOC, Engineering, and vendors during incidents and maintenance activities
- Incident & Ticket Management
- Ensure efficient handling of incidents and service requests in the ticketing system
- Monitor ticket prioritization, escalation, and resolution according to SLAs
- Lead major incident management and root cause analysis (RCA)
- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and post-incident reviews
- Improve incident management processes and workflows
- Service Quality & Performance
- Monitor network performance KPIs and SLA compliance
- Identify recurring issues and drive corrective and preventive actions
- Contribute to operational dashboards, reports, and performance reviews
- Support continuous service improvement initiatives
- Process & Documentation
- Define, update, and enforce operational procedures and runbooks
- Contribute to the development of knowledge base and documentation
- Promote ITIL-based processes and operational standards
- Support automation and tool improvement initiatives
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders (Engineering, IT, Customer Support, Business)
- Coordinate with telecom vendors and partners (e.g., Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, etc.)
- Participate in technical and operational meetings and projects
Technical Skills
- Solid experience in telecom operations (mobile and/or fixed networks)
- Good understanding of:
- Mobile networks (2G/4G/5G) and fixed networks
- Core, Access, and Transmission architectures
- IP networking and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, MPLS basics, wireshark)
- Monitoring, ticketing, and NOC tools (ServiceNow, NetAct, SolarWinds, Grafana,...)
- Knowledge of ITIL and incident/problem/change management processes
- Proven experience in team leadership or senior operational roles
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage priorities and make decisions under pressure
- Customer- and service-oriented mindset
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Degree or equivalent experience in Telecommunications, Networks, or IT
- 5+ years of experience in telecom operations or NOC environments
- First experience in team leadership is a strong plus
- Fluent in English (professional level)
- Additional languages are a plus
- Experience with major telecom vendors (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, etc.)
- Experience in mobile core, fixed access, or transmission environments
- Knowledge of automation, scripting, or monitoring optimization
- Experience in ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
