For one of my customer in Europe we are looking for a Senior DevOps engineer.

Location: Bucharest, Romania(Hybrid)

Duration: Until end of 2026(renewable)

Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Defines integration and test strategy, test plan and tests scenarios
  • Ensures requirements traceability and coverage
  • Defines and uses DevOps and CI/CD approach
  • Builds the integration environment and installs the solution or upgrades it
  • Performs system integration and validation test including load, performance, high availability, accuracy and security tests
  • Investigates issues by analyzing logs during tests execution, reports incidents through configuration management tool and monitors them until closure
  • Produces documents that will allow proper installation, testing, operations and administration
  • Prepares and provides training for customer, support and maintenance teams
  • Supports pre-sales teams on specific technical requests on integration activities
  • Defines and implements autonomously the entire integration and test strategy of a full simple project requiring advanced knowledge in OS, database and integration tools
  • Familiar with security technologies and frameworks, including PKI and certificate management, SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, firewalls, IAM, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Practical experience operating and integrating security systems, such as log collection and correlation in SIEM, key and certificate lifecycle management (PKI), vulnerability scanning, threat detection, and incident response workflows.

Required skills:

  • Master’s or equivalent degree (5+ years) in Computer Science.
  • Solid minimum 7 years in the integration and qualification of the software.
  • Good knowledge of the life cycle of a software project (specifications, developments, integrations & depoyments, tests)
  • Web Technologies, Application Servers (JBOSS), Java / J2EE
  • Web-services: SOAP, REST, RPC
  • Maven Artifact repository administration: Nexus
  • Tools development: scripting (python ...), Bash shell, KSH, AWK ...
  • Strong knowledge of Queueing and federation services: Rabbit MQ, Active MQ, WebSphere MQ, Pacemaker
  • Strong knowledge of at least one cloud environments: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
  • Cybersecurity standards and principles,
  • Oracle / PostgreSQL and optional NoSQL relational databases (Cassandra, MongoDB)
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructures: OS (Windows, Linux), virtualization and containerization of the environments (OpenStack, Vmware, Docker)
  • Test tools: TestLink, Jira, SOAtest, SoapUI, JMeter
  • Automation and scheduling tools: Jenkins, Ansible, Teraform
