Project Manager Upstream

Main Responsibilities

1. The Senior PM manages and coordinates the implementation of key strategic (change) projects in Upstream and provides all necessary support to achieve the results of the Upstream Division.
2. He/she leads strategic programs in the areas of cost efficiency, operational excellence, HSSE improvement, production growth, and organizational change.
3. Manages complex, critical projects for the company and ensures their compliance with the company’s and group’s overall strategy, budget objectives, and quality standards.
4. Understands organizational and change management issues and formulates solutions to deliver value.
5. Cooperates with external consultants on Upstream projects and ensures appropriate quality and timely delivery of project results.
6. Responsible for executing the program on time and within budget, in alignment with organizational structures.
7. Coordinates the project team as PMO leader for assigned projects and manages all internal and external interfaces.
8. Accountable for the proper implementation of projects in close collaboration with all program/project stakeholders and addresses any issues that may negatively impact project outcomes.
9. Responsible, based on assignment, for critical strategic objectives; relevant targets and indicators.
10. Leads and participates in projects to cover performance processes in Upstream, portfolio, and planning, and coordinates project teams across different divisions.
11. Acts as a trusted advisor to the head of optimization, change, and efficiency management in all matters related to operations, costs, and projects.
12. Conducts proactive risk management, monitors deviations, and defines and delivers a solid action plan and mitigation measures.
13. Identifies additional savings potential and incorporates it into the Program’s initiatives.
14. Prepares various presentations and documentation for the program/project at the request of Upstream EB members and other program stakeholders.
