Senior Project Manager

Role Overview

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing the IT aspects of projects, ensuring delivery against defined objectives, budget, timeline, quality, and scope. The role involves managing stakeholder requirements and overseeing projects from initiation through closure.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project delivery, including project design, resource commitment, objectives, and expected results.
• Develop and maintain project plans, including contracting activities when work is delivered by third parties.
• Take full budget responsibility and oversee project financials.
• Lead project execution, monitoring, and control, ensuring alignment with agreed scope and quality.
• Manage project closure and effective resource management.
• Handle regular projects with routine work packages and responsibility for successful outcomes.

Technical & Professional Expertise

• Maintain strong technical currency, with broad technical knowledge across multiple technology programs and packages.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of several technologies relevant to IT project delivery.

Experience & Skills

• Up to 9 years of experience in a Project Manager or similar role.
• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager and Scrum Master.
• Ability to quickly understand new business processes, requirements, and technologies.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients and project teams.
• Focus on delivering team results and continuous improvement in communication.

Communication & Language Skills

• Strong, structured communication skills.
• Swedish speaking and writing proficiency at a good level.
• English speaking and writing proficiency at a good level.
