We are seeking a Junior AI Innovation Analyst for an entry-to-early career role focused on exploring emerging AI technologies, generating ideas, and supporting the evaluation and prototyping of AI-driven solutions. This is a hybrid role with our Austin, Texas client designed for a curious, conceptual thinker who is passionate about artificial intelligence and its practical application to solve real business problems. The ideal candidate is not expected to be a deep technical AI engineer, but rather a creative, analytical, and collaborative contributor who can bridge ideas, research, and practical experimentation to create business efficiency.

This position will work closely with AI, data, and business teams to identify opportunities for innovation, assess feasibility, and help shape early-stage AI concepts into actionable initiatives.

Use AI to increase DevOps development speed and quality efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and monitor trends in AI, machine learning, automation, and emerging technologies
  • Generate and document innovative AI use cases aligned to business needs
  • Assist in evaluating AI tools, platforms, and vendors
  • Support proof-of-concept (POC) development and pilot projects
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate business ideas into experientable concepts
  • Help define problem statements, success criteria, and expected outcomes for AI initiatives
  • Create clear, concise summaries of AI concepts for business stakeholders
  • Participate in ideation workshops, brainstorming sessions, and innovation forums
  • Maintain a catalog of potential AI opportunities and experiments
  • Assist in measuring outcomes and documenting lessons learned from pilots

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong interest in artificial intelligence, automation, and digital innovation
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms
  • Curiosity, creativity, and willingness to experiment
  • Basic understanding of AI concepts such as machine learning, generative AI, and automation
  • Strong writing and presentation skills

Preferred

  • Exposure to tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, Azure AI, AWS AI, Google AI, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with data, analytics, or visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience with design thinking, innovation labs, or hackathons
  • Internship or project work involving AI, analytics, or digital transformation
