We are seeking a talented Senior UX/UI Designer with specialized expertise in Design Systems to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for spearheading the development of a design system from the ground up for the company. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team, including a frontend lead, to strategically drive design system development, decision-making, stakeholder management, communication, and education. Additionally, you will be hands-on in creating high-quality, accessible components in Figma and documenting the design system.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking a lead role in creating a comprehensive design system for implementation across various workflows in web and app environments.
  • Collaborating with the team to establish processes and facilitate management and handover.
  • Full-time engagement throughout 2025.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years as a UX/UI designer.
  • Proven track record of creating and working with design systems in a large organization with multiple development teams.
  • Proficiency in visually and functionally sound design, following UX design processes.
  • Ability to create high-quality, accessible components in Figma.

Key Competencies:

  • Expertise in design systems, including design tokens.
  • Experience with accessibility reviews and adherence to WCAG AAA standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain complex design systems in larger organizations.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SAFe frameworks.

Languages:

  • Proficiency in Swedish (for documentation and knowledge transfer).
  • Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry experience in banking and finance.
  • Experience as a design lead or with DesignOps.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and collaboration with frontend developers to ensure design implementation.
