We are seeking a visionary Head of AI to build and lead the organisation’s AI strategy, spearhead cutting‑edge initiatives, and shape the future of AI‑driven financial solutions.


Role Overview


As the Head of AI, you will own the end‑to‑end AI roadmap across the organisation—from research and model development to production deployment and continuous optimisation. You will lead cross‑functional teams, partner with senior executives, and drive innovation across product, engineering, data, CX, and risk.

This is a high‑impact leadership role suited for an experienced AI executive who thrives in fast‑moving, high‑growth environments.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the company‑wide AI strategy aligned with long‑term business goals.
  • Build and lead a world‑class AI organisation encompassing ML engineering, data science, MLOps, and AI research.
  • Identify new product opportunities through machine learning, generative AI, and automation.


Technical Excellence

  • Oversee development of AI models powering fraud detection, credit scoring, personal finance insights, payments optimisation, LLM‑powered support, and more.
  • Drive innovation in generative AI, including retrieval‑augmented models, agent workflows, and fine‑tuned domain‑specific LLMs.
  • Ensure all AI systems meet stringent regulatory, ethical, and security standards appropriate for global financial markets.


Cross‑Functional Impact

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Compliance teams to embed AI into the company’s core platforms and customer experiences.
  • Champion responsible AI and model governance across all business units.
  • Communicate AI strategy, progress, and outcomes to executive leadership, board members, and global stakeholders.


Qualifications

Required:


  • 8–12+ years of experience in AI/ML leadership roles, including managing multi‑disciplinary teams.
  • Proven experience deploying complex AI systems in production at scale.
  • Expertise in deep learning, generative AI, NLP/LLMs, and ML infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of financial services, payments, credit, or risk modelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and drive organisational change.


Preferred:

  • Experience in a global FinTech, bank, or regulated financial institution.
